There's nothing more enjoyable than strolling the streets
of Mâcon where history and men have left traces of the
past. The tourist can visit many places in Mâcon: the
town hall of the XVII century, Saint-Pierre church, the Soufflot
residence, the Wooden House with saucy sculptures, the city's
talisman : Saint-Laurent bridge, the old Saint-Vincent, the
Ursulines museum, a former convent with sevelar vestiges of

Cluny
is a city of art and history, but most of all, it
is an important cultural and tourist site. You can't
go to Cluny without visiting the famous abbey, whose
church was the largest one in the Christendom, the
Art and Archeology Museum with the largest collection
of Roman stones in Europe, the medieval city which
protects the greatest number of Roman houses in France,
the Cheese Tower: the only National Stud Farm in the
Burgundy area, the hospital and its "hapothicairerie",
and the surroundings of Cluny, scattered with castles,
caves, museums, churches and paths.
